A new adventure! My travels now take me to South America where my dear friends, Trevor and Mike, and I are going to bike and hike through the Peruvian jungle to reach the magical Machu Picchu! I can barely contain my excitement! This trip has been a dream for me. I don't even know exactly what to expect. I can only imagine the energy that I would encounter when I see this acient beast! It will be another moment of feeling very small in this great big world. I anticipate feeling awe and complete gratitude of being able to feel so close to such a masterpiece and great wonder of this great big world!
I am so excited to speak Spanish on a daily basis as well. A part of me feels missing when I am not speaking Spanish on a day to day basis. I think I am sure to get my fill.
I am not sure how much internet I will have access to while I am there. We will only be gone for about ten days, but I will definitely fill you in on the highlights of hiking, camping and white water rafting when I return! I am just excited to be in the outdoors on a daily basis and sleep outside. I can only imagine the stars that we will encounter!
